In this talk, we shall present some natural associations of vertex algebras to Lie algebras. More specifically, we shall show how to associate vertex algebras to infinite-dimensional Lie algebras by using the theories of modules, twisted modules, quasi modules, and phi-coordinated modules for vertex algebras.

李海生🧑🏻🎤，美國羅格斯大學肯頓分校終身教授，著名華人數學家👱♂️、頂點算子代數奠基人之一，多年來一直從事無窮維李代數🧑🏻🔬、頂點代數、頂點算子代數的重要表示與結構理論的研究🤸🏿。在Duke Math. J.🛜、Adv. Math.、Math. Ann.、Comm. Math. Phys.、Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.、Israel J. Math.、Math. Z.、Selecta Math. (N.S.)、J. Algebra、J. Pure Appl. Algebra等著名期刊發表高水平學術論文100余篇，被同行文章引用超3000篇次🙎🏽♀️，並擔任Electronic Research Archive雜誌的編委。主持多項美國自然科學基金，一項中國自然科學基金（海外合作項目）。
